Len Morgan (1933-2018).


Leonard (Len) Morgan, a former Handbridge resident, spent most of his life establishing and curating a vast collection of thousands of photographs of Chester through the years. He presented numerous slideshows, walks, tours and written newspaper columns – extolling his passion for the city’s historical heritage, and was well known for his love and enthusiasm of his hometown. After leaving school at 14, he became a stonemason working on various old buildings and taking interesting photos with his box Brownie camera.
